Pay your balance, credits and withdrawals
Open your team's payment page from the email or your reference, pay the balance by card, record a cash payment, and what a withdrawal credit is and how to use it.
Updated
When a team pays a deposit, the rest of the fee is paid later on the team's own payment page. The same page shows the running total for any team, and it is where a credit from an earlier withdrawal shows up as *Paid so far*.
Open your payment page
The link is in the Deposit received email and the Balance reminder emails, and it is on the confirmation page right after you register. It is the league's site address followed by /pay/ and your reference (for example /pay/REG-7K2PQ4), so anyone with the reference can open it. No sign-in is needed.
The page shows the team, the event, the balance due date, the registration total, what has been paid so far (card payments and credits together), the processing fee when the league passes it on, and the amount to pay now.
Pay the balance
- Press Pay with the amount shown. You go to Stripe's checkout to enter the card.
- Stripe brings you back to the same page with a *Paid in full* note once the payment has cleared, usually within a minute.
- A You're in! email confirms the team is paid in full, and your card receipt comes separately from Stripe.
A page that reads *Nothing owing* means there is nothing left to pay. A registration that has been withdrawn, cancelled or refunded says so and takes no payment.
Balance reminders
The league sets a balance due date on each event. As it approaches, the head coach gets *Balance reminder* emails with the amount owing and the payment link. Already paid the league in cash, by cheque or by e-transfer? Reply to the email so the league can record it; the page and the reminders update once they do.
Credits and withdrawals
To withdraw a team, contact the league. They withdraw it under Registrations and you get a Withdrawal confirmed email:
- The deposit is kept: it is non-refundable.
- A team that withdraws 14 or more days before the event gets anything it paid beyond the deposit back as a credit toward a future season. The email has the amount and a code in the form CR-XXXXXX.
- A later withdrawal gets no credit.
To use the credit, enter the code in the Credit code box the next time you register with the same email address. It comes off that day's charge; if it covers the whole charge, there is no card step at all. A credit can have an expiry date, which the league sets.
A team the league could not place (a declined registration) gets a *We couldn't place your team* email, and anything paid is refunded or credited by the league.
Questions
I lost the email with the link. How do I pay?
Your payment page is the league's site address followed by /pay/ and your reference, for example /pay/REG-7K2PQ4. The reference is on your confirmation page and on every registration email. If you have lost that too, contact the league: they can see it under Registrations.
We paid the league by e-transfer. Why does the page still show a balance?
The league records cash, cheque and e-transfer payments by hand. Reply to the balance reminder, or contact the league, and the page updates once they enter it.
Can I pay part of the balance?
Not online: the Pay button charges the whole amount owing. A league that accepts part payments records them by hand.
How do I withdraw my team?
Contact the league. They withdraw the team under Registrations and you get a Withdrawal confirmed email. The deposit is kept; any amount paid beyond it is returned as a credit when you withdraw 14 or more days before the event.
